This series comprises minutes and meeting summaries of the board of directors for the restructured Deaconess Community of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA). Records date from 1979-1987 and include minutes and meeting summaries. The minutes include added material and reports. The copies of meeting summaries in this series were obtained from minutes of the LCA's DPL and copies were made from meeting notes included in the deaconess community monthly newsletter. In addition to minutes and meeting summaries for board meetings, this series also includes minutes and exhibits from executive committee meetings held 1979-1980 and minutes and reports from the finance and property committee.
